Camping

 

I have always loved the outdoors and this has been complemented by a lifetime of camping.  My family has had a camping tradition since before I was born.  Every summer we would explore America's natural beauty with at least 3 camping trips each summer.  Sometimes would I would go on as many as 6 trips in the summer and 8 throughout the rest of the year.  I would make local trips as well as long expeditions half way across the country.  Many times to new places and sometimes repeating past favorites.  Regardless of where it was it's always a great adventure.

 

There is something essentially honest about the simple living of camping.  As my life gets filled with ever advanced technology it is always a breath of fresh air to take a step back into rugged living.  I find that each time I switch from one lifestyle to the other I am always more appreciative.  The renewal that comes from recreation is always welcome.
